Russian tour operators lose 27 bln rbl from coronavirus restrictions
MOSCOW, Feb 28 (PRIME) -- The losses of Russian tour operators from the coronavirus epidemics are preliminarily estimated at 27 billion rubles, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia said in a report on Friday.
“According to preliminary estimates, losses of the tour operators of the Russian Federation from all prohibitions of tour sales to various states, including Italy, have already reached 27 billion rubles,” the association said.
On Thursday, the Federal Agency for Tourism issued recommendation to the Russian tour operators to suspend sales of tours to Italy, Iran and South Korea because of a spread of coronavirus.
